Children under 14 years of age are not permitted to travel without being accompanied throughout the journey by a responsible person aged 16 years or over.
Children aged 14 - 15 years old may travel unaccompanied, as from 5am, arriving at their booked destination no later than 10pm. Unaccompanied children will be asked for proof of age or a signed letter of permission from their parent/guardian. (sms or chat based messages are not permissible)

One infant aged 0-2 travels free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Additional infants aged 0-2 must be paid for. If you are travelling with more than 1 infant aged 0-2, please book the additional infant as 'Children (3-15).

How do I amend my ticket?

We always recommend booking a Standard or Fully Flexible ticket if you’re not 100% sure of when you’d like to travel. This way you can easily amend the date and time of your journey right up to when you’re due to go!

Fully Flexible fares can be amended at no extra cost, while Standard fares will be subject to a £5 amendment fee through My Account (£6 if amended via telephone). An excess fare may also be charged.

How can I refund my ticket?

If you purchased a Fully Flexible ticket, you’re in luck and can receive a refund as long as you cancel it no later than 24 hours before your original outward journey.

If you’re entitled to a ticket refund, you can easily do this through My Account and no matter whether you have a single, return or open return, your ticket can be cancelled and your card payment repaid by following these simple steps:

Log in to My Account and view your ticket information.
If eligible, you will see a 'Cancel & refund ticket' button.
Once clicked, you will see the full details of the journey you are cancelling and can click 'Cancel & refund ticket' again.
My Account will then check one more time that you wish to cancel your ticket.
By clicking 'Yes, cancel my ticket' you will then receive confirmation of the cancellation.

Fully Flexible ticket holders can also use the Cancel & Refund option in My Account to refund extras purchased during the booking process.
