National Express will be running extra services to Liverpool next week, helping fans get to the City of Pop for the Eurovision Song Contest.

As excitement builds for the biggest musical celebration of the year, the coach operator has added 33 coaches to meet demand with departures from key cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Manchester Airport and Leeds.

Andy Leonard, National Express Senior Coach Station Manager for the North, said: “We’ve seen a huge demand for our services since news of the planned rail strikes was announced, with advance tickets selling out quickly. We’re pleased to be able to add extra coaches on our network so that fans can safely travel to Liverpool and be part of a truly electric moment in musical history.”

Limited tickets are available so the advice is to book as soon as you can to guarantee a seat for travel. For more information and to plan your journey, see www.nationalexpress.com.
