If your new year's resolution is to try and see more of the UK in 2020, we’re here to make life easier! Not only can we take you to hundreds of destination points across the country but we’ve also got some great recommendations for places you might not have thought to visit.
Find the right one for you and discover our amazingly low fares from just £5 one-way (plus £1 booking fee)!
A city filled with northern hospitality and charm, Leeds is a great all-rounder with a little something for everyone. The offering for shopaholics is impressive, from high street favourites at the Trinity shopping complex to a host of beautiful arcades and independent side streets, you can easily find something special to treat yourself.
Or, if you’re more of a culture vulture, a trip to the Royal Armories Museum is just the thing for you. Delve deep into the fascinating world of weaponry and combat history with everything from the guns of James Bond to a real 15th century Chinese sword!
Plus, don’t forget that our event services will be heading straight to Leeds Festival in August. Don’t miss your chance to be part of one of the year’s top music festivals.
Often misunderstood, Nottingham has a host of hidden gems and amazing attractions to keep you busy. Did you know there are over 500 sandstone caves under the city’s streets? Take a tour and discover their history dating back over a thousand years!
On the other hand, if you’re looking to get your heart racing during your visit, take a trip to the Old Majestic Cinema and Haunted Museum. This classic cinema has had many reports of paranormal activity and is now home to hundreds of haunted items. Are you brave enough to go?
Newquay is a vibrant and fun Cornish surf town that’s just as enjoyable in the colder months as it is in the sun. As great as it is to enjoy the beach on a hot summer’s day, trying your hand at surfing and sampling the local fish and chips, there’s nothing like wrapping up warm and having a long walk on the cold sand. You’ll love the peace of just you and the waves.
While Newquay is known for its chilled-out vibes, it’s also famous for its fast-paced nightlife. There are plenty of great bars, nightclubs and special events available throughout the year if partying into the small hours is your thing.
What better excuse to visit Cheltenham than one of the world’s premier racing events? Cheltenham Festival takes place every March and is a day out like no other. You can take our special event services to the festival and experience the incredible atmosphere for yourself, live and in person!
However, Cheltenham offers more than just racing fun. Spend a fantastic summer’s day out with the family at Sandford Parks Lido, a beautiful outdoor pool and parkland. Then enjoy a round or two at Mr Mulligan’s Lost World Golf, where you’ll dodge prehistoric beasts before sinking your putt!
For a relaxing trip full of tranquillity, Canterbury is an ideal spot. Those that like a good walk will soon find Westgate gardens, perfectly located along the River Stour, giving you the feeling of being in the countryside and the city all at once.
No visit to Canterbury is complete without seeing the incredible Canterbury Cathedral in all its majesty. The cathedral has been visited by millions across the world to pay their respects and enjoy the beautiful grounds and incredible architecture. Even if you’re not religious, it’s hard not to appreciate such a peaceful place.
Finally, why not head to Newcastle and enjoy a friendly Geordie welcome in 2020? Explore the city and scale the Newcastle Castle to discover its grim history and take in the incredible views.
Fancy something with a little more artistic flair? The Biscuit Factory is the UK’s largest independent commercial art, craft and design gallery. Check out everything from ceramics and furniture to all kinds of jewellery and even buy yourself a nice souvenir to take home.
Wherever you do choose to travel we hope you have a fantastic time aboard our coaches. But if you’re still struggling to decide, don’t forget you can find more inspiration on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram or check out our destinations hub for more great places to visit in 2020.
