Halloween is creeping around the corner and there are tonnes of spooky events and activities happening all across the UK this October! To make sure your wallet isn’t given a fright we have put together a list of 5 ghoulishly great activities this Halloween, that won’t bite your budget. Expect many more puns, sorry (not sorry!).
19 October - 3 November 2019
It's not Halloween without a few treats and where better to find them than at Birmingham's very own Cadbury World! This year Freddo will be hosting a Halloween spooktacular and he is inviting young ghouls and goblins to take part in some fang-tastic fun. With tonnes of spooky activities and even a live show, your little monsters will have a scream. Costumes are also encouraged and even rewarded with chocolatey prizes.

Manchester fully embraces the spirit of Halloween and as always adds its own northern twist to the ghostly goings on. Meet Dr Mancenstein for example, described as a mad-for-it scientist she has created her very own monster, Liam. Take a tour of their exploded castle ruins and meet the monster yourself. Expect science experiments, slime and more in this street theatre experience and St Ann's Square.

The Edinburgh Dungeon is welcoming you all to what they are describing as the most horrible time of the year, for a month of scary events. Make your way through the haunted dungeons encountering some of Edinburgh's most horrible figures in history, with The White Lady Ghost also making a terrifying appearance. You can even take advantage of their late opening times if you have the guts...

What's a Halloween without pumpkins! Noah's Ark Zoo Farm in Bristol is hosting a peculiar pumpkin festival. Perfect for your little monsters, this festival will be home to a Pumpkin Mystery Trail, its very own pumpkin patch with carving lessons and even pumpkin sports like bowling! Enough pumpkins? No? Good, because there is also a Pumpkins for Animals day on Saturdays too! Phew, anyone fancy a pumpkin spiced latte?

We couldn't leave out the capital from Halloween proceedings and this one is definitely for you murder mystery buffs! This year the Natural History Museum is hosting a Crime Scene Live evening, where you can become a detective for one night only. A priceless stone has been stolen from the museum and a killer is on the loose, it's up to you find and analyse the evidence to catch them before it's too late! Think CSI meets a night at the museum, oh and make sure you have dressed appropriately for the job, detective...
